Hello! I came across the Punjab Technical University in India that offers 100% online MBA for $2,000. Here is the website http://www.ptuonline.com Anyone heard about it? Welcome everyone's inputs.
For a Diploma that looks like the one shown on Punjab's website, it too expensive at $2,000, but you never know it maybe better than a Harvard MBA? (pun). I dont believe that the weight of the programs at Punjab are up to or anywhere near par with over here though? However, nice posting 'euro' for those that want that so called Accredited MBA for under $10,000, they should go for this and then see if they can get into a full Doctorate program?. J.R (ic)
Its $2000 per semester. You are looking at about $9K (including exams) to complete. For almost the same cost you can have Uni North Alabama MBA (RA) or Touro instead of going all the way to India. Good effort by PTU ! There is a sample MBA diploma on their web site http://www.ptuonline.com/accreditation.htm and click on "Click here to view a sample certificate of PTU " All their degrees are 100 % Legal and accredited and accepted world-wide. It is funny to see that the diploma shows the parent's names, I guess India has so much population that the names need to include the parent's name in order to avoid confusion. And Yes, the diploma is very ugly, trinity college and univesity did a better job on that one.

I dont think its a good idea to have your MBA from anywhere outside N. America or Europe specially if you have your Bachelor from here and plan to do PhD from here also. It would raise suspicion if you go out there and get one from all the way to India. I think it would not look good on Resume when there are so many good MBA's available
