Dual-enrollment programs are soaring in popularity, writes Catherine Gewertz in Education Week. Students hope earning college credits in high school will save them time and money in college. But some are discovering their colleges won’t accept dual-enrollment credits. > Community college students also have trouble transferring credits to four-year institutions. ‘Dual’ grads find credits won’t transfer
That's very unfortunate. My eldest has already decided it makes the most sense for his goals to wrap things up in a Bachelor's from Charter Oak Sate College, though, so no problems for him at least.
No problem if that is to be a terminal degree in some field. I wish such schools as this and 'testing out' had been there when I was young and sailing with Magellan. "Charter Oak Sate College" The school that sates your thirst for knowledge. ;-)
Not at all! COSC has a good list of graduate acceptances. I went on to GWU right afterwards, for example. COSC is over forty years old now, so you must be an ancient mariner! Ha, oops.
I think you had the right programs for that. In other disciplines the transfer school might have judged each course taken. And I'm not trying to knock COSC or similar schools. Butt-in-seat courses can be just a waste of time.
