Cheapest Accredited MBA

Greetings to all degree experts.
I am looking for a legitimate online MBA. So far the best option I found is from the UoP at $4800. Is it realistic to find a better price? Please help.

 

Nexford University – like University of the People, its accreditation is national accreditation from the DEAC – has its tuition based on a monthly subscription rate, which varies based on general wealth of the country. For the U.S. or another Group I wealthy country, $360 per month for an "average" total cost of $6,480, potentially less if you progress more quickly. For less wealthy country tiers, tuition is as low as $200 per month (still in USD).

 

For comparison, MBA cost at University of the People is $1,620 less than the "average" at Nexford. $4,860 all in.

HAU is still king of the hill for low fees. And It has Regional Accrediation.

 

I agree with others. HAU is likely the cheapest, regionally-accredited MBA we have found.

 

And University of the People received Candidate Status with WASC (Regional Accreditor) in 2021 - and I think they'll make the grade ... my guess - maybe in 2025, no guarantees.

I remember very well it used to be around 2K and paid at the end only if you want the certificate. The price has changed a lot!

 

HAU is the best deal on a legit RA Accredited MBA that I have ever seen. But, I don't think the program has any additional accreditation such as AACSB or IACBE etc. Just keep that in mind if you were looking to use the MBA to gain a teaching position.
Other than those mentioned, I think WGU offers an opportunity to get the MBA completed quickly and the are on a term-based pricing structure, so it would really be up to YOU to complete the work in a very short amount of time. The next tier is MBA's under $10K, and there are a lot of options.

 

No surprise. So have everyone else's. $1,000 is pocket-change, compared to many university increases. If the HAU MBA gets a grad a better-paying job, as I think it should, they'll make that $1,000 back in a month.

 

@Viktoria Dang the timer - I was just about to erase my previous post because I realized you were talking about U. of the People, not HAU. Sorry. Yes - UoTP have raised their fees, considerably. But the fees are still very reasonable, by current standards, and they've upped their game, by being well into the Regional Accreditation process. There's never a guarantee, and Candidacy is not Accreditation, but it is an achievement in itself - and to me at least, a likely indicator of eventual success.

Both schools meet your requirements - low cost and legit -- but HAU wins in the cost department. And it's already Regionally Accredited.

 

I would like to add that the "Saylor MBA" we discussed recently in the "Augment MBA" - thread might be an interesting bet ... for the future.

 

This will be a great option if it really gets accredited.

 

I don't know anyone there, but I agree strongly. The organization has diligence, knowledge and plenty of resources. They know what they're doing, Matter of time - reminds me of the situation with Shai Reshef and University of the People. You can NEVER call the Regional Accreditation process a slam-dunk, no matter who's handling it - but I think both of these - are VERY good bets, for mostly the same reason: They have what it takes.

 

I would advise Hellenic American University, I am a graduate and enjoyed the program. 7-week classes and you can get permission to take multiple classes at once. Can't beat the tuition price also at $3,000 with the grant and it is a regionally accredited school.

 

Futuredegree, how long did it take you to complete the program?

 

I started in July 2021 and ended in July 2022. I did not do the fastest route as I was finishing my Doctorate with VUL so I was doing two degrees at the same time. I also transferred in 9 credits from previous degrees which saved me time. Honestly, a person can do 2-3 classes per 7-week term if available. They do two 7-week terms per semester. Sometimes if you need a course you will have to take a 15-week course with the students over in Greece which the courses are taught in English. Planning each semester ahead of time and speaking with the dean to ensure your classes are available for the next semester is key. Most electives are taught in Greece FYI. I just took whatever was a short 7-week course and available.
