Today begins my journey to learn the Swahili language (the most spoken African language, albeit dominant in East Africa). I'll attend classes at the National Museums of Kenya Heritage Training Institute. There are three levels (beginners, intermediate, and advanced). Each level lasts weeks, and attendance is 2 hours daily from Monday to Friday. The cost per level is $350 (approx. 51,000 Ksh.). I think I'll do only the first two levels. I also have friends here to practice with, as I develop proficiency. More info: https://museums.or.ke/2022/05/11/swahili-classes/
Kila la kheri. I hope you have chosen the people to practice with carefully. Many people in Kenya mix up the noun classes.
