I think more institutions are going online which is a good thing. The bad, the predictions that prices would have fallen. That is the scandal. The gouging of students.
Yay! More degrees in organizational leadership. Texas just spent millions so that two or three more schools could design competency-based undergraduate programs in organizational leadership. They must want people to stay unemployed.
While the cost may not have fallen, there are a lot of options for people to choose from. I think there's always a more affordable option for every major at every degree level. Of course, one school may have a better reputation but they hold the same accreditation, e.g. AACSB, ABET, CACREP, or CAEP. Example: Johns Hopkins' AACSB MBA - 76k LSU Shreveport's AACSB MBA - 12k
It was under 2k when I earned my MBA there. However, it doesn't have AACSB accreditation so I can't compare it to an AACSB MBA.
