SurfDoctor - Thank you! I keep trying.

Johann - I understand now. He's talking about schools with ATS, TRACS, and ABHE accreditation. There may be more, but those are the ones I know off the top of my head. I'm going to click on the link after I submit this reply and hopefully it'll list more CHEA-recognized accreditors than the three above and open up additional low cost options for me for when I'm ready to go beyond the MTS.

are these degrees even worth anything

Where can you use these degrees? Seems like a huge waste of time. unless of couse you have free time then it is a great way to spend time. learning is a great hobby. Nothing better than free.

The comments from Midwest.wi are staggering. I am amazed when people consider learning anything as a potential waste of time. Glad to see anti-intellectualism is alive and well.

I looked and saw s/he had just joined and had one post so I didn't even bother to try to engage. If you don't feed 'em hopefully they go away on their own, and since it's a week later it seems like that's the case. When it's not, that's what moderators are for.

Hey, I noticed your signature says you went to SUNY Oneonta. I went there too! Just wanted to give a shout out to a fellow alum. Best of luck with your studies.

Thank you, fellow Red Dragon! Best of luck with yours, too! When did you graduate if you don't mind me asking? I graduated in 2000, but I was an older, nontraditional student.
