There are a number of degree programs out there that meet the requirements. Georgia seems similar to Oklahoma in that they have 3 requirements -

    1) You must complete a degree that is based in either counseling or applied psychology. This is the tricky part. Regular master's in psych degrees do not meet this criteria. You're looking for something along the lines of counseling, professional counseling, counseling psychology, etc. You can also use graduate degree programs for Marriage and Family Therapy, Human Relations, Substance Abuse Counseling, and similar as long as they meet the criteria that they're primarily counseling in content. If you opt for one of those types of degrees, make sure they have a licensure track (see #3).

    2) You must complete graduate-level coursework in required areas. The good news is that you can pick up courses in those required areas before, during, or after obtaining the degree. With a little planning, you can figure out what, if anything, you need to take additionally ahead of time. OK also requires a total of 60 credits in psychology and or counseling to qualify. I'm not sure what Georgia requires, but many states are moving to 60 credits, if they're not already there. That being said, there's some states that require only 45 credits... for now.

    3) They require a practicum/internship. What Jonathan shared up there doesn't have a specific number of hours required, but (for example) my state requires 300 hours. There are programs like University of the Cumberland's MAPC which has one 100 hour practicum and two 300 hour internships. Your mileage will vary, but make sure you meet the requirements for your state in the program you choose; I've not seen any schools offer an internship or practicum class a la carte.
