Does anyone know of a good accredited school that offers totally online masters degree in leadership of some kind?

I have a Bachelors from Lee University and after I get my masters I desire to seek a PhD in Leadership as well. Possibly in 'Strategic Leadership'.

Any information would be highly appreciated.

I just looked Johnson University up and they don't appear to offer a master's degree in leadership, which is odd, because they offer the PhD in the subject.

Theo Board of Regents (state schools) in Tennessee offers a Master of Professional Studies in Strategic Leadership through their Regents Online Degree Program (rodp.org). Basically, you pick a "home" school, apply, and enter the program via that school. I'm starting the program in the Spring, so I can't share any personal insight. I don't know where you are, but the out of state tuition is obviously significantly greater than what I'll be paying (or, more accurately, what my employer will reimburse).

If that price for Fort Hays is accurate, that's awesome. For what it is worth, I completed my BA in Leadership from Bellevue and was very happy with the program. They also offer the MA (I believe with some concentrations).

    Hi Pug,
Yep, FHSU is crazy inexpensive for an RA program. With the small tuition assistance my employer offers i completed it woithout any out-of-pocket expense. Id strongly reccomend considering the program. Only drawback ive seen after being in the program and now an adjunct there for several years is the small number of faculty and how many of their own graduates they hire (myself included).

What are the course delivery methods used in the FHSU MLS leadership program?

    Hi JBjunior,
everything is done on Blackboard. For some of the classes there are video lectures available in BB, for others there is not. when i completed in 2007, roughly 75% had video lectures.

The curriculum may have changed a bit since i completed it in 2007, but FHSU offers a wide array of MLS concentrations. These MLS students all take a common 3 courses, then all additional courses are in the concentration.

here are the degree requirements: MLS Concentration in Organizational Leadership - Fort Hays State University

the courses are offered pretty regularly so you can have some choises each semester. The culmunating experience is intended to be an application of your learnings. I my case i did a project with a local food pantry to collect extra garden produce.

the final exam is essay, consisting of responses to 8 questions. In my case i was asked to expand on one of my responses, but it was a solid summary exam.

Dr. Art Moran was the MLS director, i think he's still in that role. You could also send questions to Jill Arensdorf, she's the new dept chair in the department of Organizational Leadership.

    Hope this was helpful.
    Mike
