I'm thinking about earning a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Is anyone here familiar with the academic quality of this degree program at Trinity Saint David or familiar with the academic quality of this school in general?
Trinity - Wales Trinity Saint David is a good school, though it ranks quite low amongst UK schools: University guide 2013: University league table | Education | guardian.co.uk It is also quite 'pricey,' but then most UK schools are pricey for non-UK/EU residents. Still, would be an excellent addition to your Vita, and you would surely receive good instruction / supervision.
Other programs.. You might also consider Birmingham, ranked in the top 30: Philosophy PhD/PhD by Distance Learning/MA by Research - University of Birmingham
I only wish the wide array of subjects and degrees from TSD would be available elsewhere (at much lower prices)!
Part of your problem is that even if you're advised to go elsewhere, there's not really a lot of alternatives.
