Got to knock out these classes

That is what I thought would happen.

Before I leave this site I would like to thank anyone especially Cookderosa who has offered their help and guidance to me.

This is a great forum filled with many helpful and knowledgeable people. I am not going to apologize for defending myself when I felt like I was being ganged up on, for making a few typos. I still think I made a solid point about the whole "thru" vs. "IMO" & "BTW" being text message slang. Maybe some of you will re-read this and realize I wasn't trying to attack Bruce but defend myself.

So in closing again thanks to anyone who has helped me in the past, and Good Luck to everyone here with your future educational endeavors!

What I said was that you should be careful using texting grammar, as it will surface in your academic writing, because I've seen it happen. That was some advice that if followed, will probably save you some grief down the road of your academic journey, but if you want to ignore it, I couldn't possibly care less.

You consider some sound advice, and a brutally blunt opinion not even directed at you to be an "attack"?

What exactly was your invitation for me to say it to your face? So you would have an opportunity to shake my hand and buy me a coffee?

As Rush Limbaugh has said; "Words mean things". Don't write checks with your mouth (or in this case, your fingers) that your body can't cash. This may come as a surprise to you, but you're not the first Internet tough guy to threaten me, and here I am, without ever getting my ass kicked by a single one of them.

You already did, but I'm more than willing to let it slide and forget about it.

I don't think I was, as I gave you some sound advice in regards to your academic writing, and it was a GENERAL opinion that people who use texting grammar look like dumbasses that sent you over the edge. I wasn't directing that at you, but you then flew off the handle and decided to offer me out, and I accepted.

As I said, I'm more than willing to put this in the past and forget it, but just remember that we take a dim view of threats of violence against members, and especially moderators.
