Using old edition textbooks in your online class?

Occasionally we get questions about purchasing textbooks on the cheap. Here's a story that might be og interest:

That's very interesting, Kiz. Especially so because your highlights are saved to the Amazon Cloud. I'm not sure how that works, but it appears that you could view them again. I wonder if you could use that with a Kindle reader for your computer.

 

I have been doing this for my Masters, in fact of the three classes I'm taking right now I paid about $10.00 for all three books. All are used and either the previous edition, or a couple editions past. I'm having no problems with the data, so far I have perfect marks on all assignments and I reference heavy from each one of them.
