    Hello Friends,
I have recently been reading posts about Charter Oaks State University. I have a question for you. Does Charter Oaks accept 120 transfer credit hours like TESC and Excelsior?

    Thank you,

It's "Charter Oak State College", and yes. It and the others you mentioned are collectively referred to as the "Big Three" for this reason.

COSC accepts 120 credits towards a degree but they also might have a few of their own requirements such taking a 1 credit course in information literacy, etc. before you can graduate.

And of course the credits have to match up with those required for the degree.

I'm not sure, but I think they may have changed the requirements @ COSC. You can still transfer 120 credits +, but you need to take a capstone class now in order to graduate. I think their accrediting agency made them do this now.

That is correct, COSC requires Bachelor's Degree Grads to complete a Capstone course. When COSC announced the requirement last year, COSC alluded the accreditation requirement.

IMHO, I see TESC and Excelsior heading in a capstone course direction also, as accrediting bodies place more emphasis on program outcomes assessment.
