I’m thinking about completing some of my upper-level hours at Peru State. I’m interested in the retail management and writing for publications certificates.

The price is right, but I want more information about the quality of Peru State. Hell, I want any information about PSC. Should I go for it, or stay away?

PSC worked fine for me. It is a solid state college in Nebraska and has been around since the mid-1800's. Oh, and the tuition is VERY affordable.

    Peru

Peru is a good small state school just south of Lincoln, NE. I have done my entire double major B.S. there with the exception of a few previous credits. Coming from someone who has been a student there since 2005, I would recommend them to anyone as a solid school. I have learned a lot from the school and most of the classes I have taken have been worth it. There have only been a few (3 ish or so..) classes which were not up to par or the prof was a new adjunct and couldn't adjust to the online teaching gig i.e. - redundant and sometimes conflicting things in syllabus, changing assignments, other things, etc. Other than that, I would say I enjoyed every part of my experience. I will graduate in the Spring with a double B.S. in Psych / CJ with almost a history minor. They have a small school mentallity as there are still only around 2000 - 2500 or so students, this includes their online component. This allows for one to one attention and quick email response from professors. I also was able to visit the campus this year as (I live in Massachusetts) I was driving home from a road trip out west, and I must say it is very nice! I hope this helps!

Mighty Tiki: Your sig line still says that you expect to receive your BS in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Peru State College in 2008. It's now well into 2009.

    Slacking on the updates!

Yeah you caught me! I'm slacking! I haven't updated my sig line since before I declared the double major. Also, I thought I would transfer my Ashworth degree in too, but I decided against it and that tacked on a semester or two as well!

    Operation Get it Done!

I will finish my degree at Marshall, but I decided to complete a few upper-level classes at Peru State first. I'm trying to have as much fun as possible on my way to my degree, while learning skills that will benefit me in the future.

After this semester it should be down hill for me.

    Thanks!

    I liked it

I took some online course there and found the quality of instruction to be great. I learned how to make a website for my classroom and the admissions was very helpful. T
