Web marketing or advertising degree/certificate/diploma

A friend of mine has her bachelor's degree in marketing from a traditional b&m school, I've been helping her job search lately and a LOT of the marketing jobs are web/internet marketing focused which she doesn't have much experience in. Can anyone recommend an accredited distance ed program that focuses specifically on online marketing? Doesn't have to be a master's, actually a diploma/certificate would probably be preferable. Thanks!

National University, DePaul University, UM-University College, and Dallas Baptist University offer Master in eCommerce. I think that is close to what you're looking for....

I found this site Innobuzz Knowledge Solutions that offers an online marketing course. It caters to the international market so check it out to learn more about the program. Any marketing course will do as well because this normally incorporates the current trend of internet marketing.

 

I ran across the University of Virginia Certificate in eMarketing program (offered by the School of Continuing & Professional Studies). It looks interesting (and all online). There are three prereqs. And two electives. Each course is 3 credits each at $300 per credit in state and $357 out of state. At $5,355 total for the five courses required for the certificate it isn't cheap. I also looked at an online marketing program at the University of San Francisco, more expensive and not credit based (an issue for tuition reimbursement).

I've been itching to start a program again since completing my MBA three years ago. This may be the one I go with. -Kevin

I'm not sure if I have enough cred to post links yet, but if you search the name of the program (in bold above) in Google it'll be there.

It sounds like an excellent program and not too expensive, although this is basically a single course. I'm actually considering taking this one myself.

 

Web marketing is basically just marketing and promotion. You have to be a marketer and learn the skills needed to sell products online. Thousands of ordinary people have learned enough to earn full-time incomes online. The key for most success is selecting a plan and a marketing method and then setting up your first website.

I am Colemancol and My friend is in Web Marketing Field and Web Marketing is best field for learn lot of money if we are interested in that. But let me inform you also that certificate is also preferable so first get degree then you join web marketing/advertise .
