Ah, but there is. Look at "Buddy / Ignore Lists" under the User CP at the top.

    Saiga,

Frederick Community College will transcript the FEMA credit for $60 per credit. This is done by sending in the FEMA transcript along with a check. There is no proctor required. After transcription, the credits will transfer to virtually any school, including top ranked universities and AACSB accredited business schools. The only thing differant about schools like TESC or Bellevue accepting the FEMA credits in direct transfer is that they don't require that you first pay $60 per hour to FCC. That's it. So your issue isn't really with TESC, it's against all accredited universities.

I have about 29 FEMA credits on my transcript. I have an AAS from TESC and I'm finishing up a BA in Leadership from Bellevue, both schools you believe to be either illegitimate or a joke. However, I have already contacted Liberty University, Frostburg University, Hood College, George Washington University, University of Baltimore/Towson, Loyola Collge of Maryland, and Mount Saint Mary's University, about graduate study. Though none of the schools can formally grant admission until I complete the BA, all have responded very favorably regarding acceptence. For the record, since a school's ranking seems important to you, each school is ranked as follows:

    Liberty - unranked
    Frostburg - unranked, AACSB accredited
Hood College - #19, Tier 1, Masters Universities - North
George Washington University - #53, Tier 1, National Universities
University of Baltimore/Towson - unranked, AACSB accredited
Loyola College of MD - #2, Tier 1, Masters Universities - North, AACSB accredited
    Mount Saint Mary's - #26, Tier 1, Masters Universities - North

Does anyone else have any experience with these courses? My hubby who is in our local fire department is interested in taking a few as well.

That's one university out of the 10 trillion universities - if you checked at the rate of one second per univerity it would take you 317, 098 years ;)

Out-of-Pocket cost to transfer FEMA to TESC ?

Been away from the site for awhile.

Trying to help out a friend now. Assume she has 100 upper/lower credits.

Just how much does it cost to "transfer" FEMA courses into TESC?

Do the FEMA courses count the same as her 100 RA credits?

    OR

Using the TESC "Cost Calculator", Step 2 seems to indicate that the 20 remaining credits, which the FEMA courses would be used for, has to fall into one of three categories: (i) TESC course credits, (ii) Testing credits, or (iii) Prior Assessment Learning credits.

    Testing credits seem to cost $80/credit (*20 = $1600)

    Prior Assesment Learning credits seem to cost $175/credit (* 20 = $3500).

Just curious to hear from someone who's done it...

The amount of credit depends on which college you go to in order to get credit. TESC currently gives the most, at one semester credit hour per course. TESC does not accept all FEMA courses for credit, but does accept more than other schools.

any ideas of the out-of-pocket cost to have TESC put that FEMA one credit onto a TESC transcript?

Free, as if it was college credit directly from another RA institution?

Or, a "per credit" fee for some type of "evaluation" ?
