Alabama HR Policy: Unaccredited degrees or education

    Not necessarily. If their standard is RA or equivalent accreditation, then it makes sense.

    Keep in mind that virtually all of America's public and research universities are RA. In fact, the average person on the street just assumes that there's accredited and not-accredited, and accredition is whatever all the universities that they have heard of have. And all the universities that the typical person has heard of are RA.

    RA is the de-facto standard institutional accreditation in the US, which is why 'NA' proponents spend so much time insisting that NA is just as good as RA. You rarely if ever hear RA proponents arguing the reverse, since it isn't an issue.

    Confusing this issue with your own personal distaste for Alabama isn't very constructive.

    I thinkin the long run that NA schools will become more acceptable and it won't matter if it is RA or NA just as long as it is reconized by dept. of education and chea.
