I thought it would be interesting to take a poll on which celebrity/person of fame is influential (positive or negative) in YOUR OPINION, In regards to the 2008 Presidential Election.
Since you are allowing a vote for only one person, the question is presumably "Who is the most important celebrity..." (or perhaps the prettiest or the fattest or the one with the worst hair, etc.
It seems strange to include Bill Clinton, as if his fame is from some other source outside of politics, hence the term "celebrity." Given that inclusion, I would have preferred to vote for George W. Bush. His is the biggest shadow cast over this election--a shadow the Republican candidates are running away from at full tilt while not actually acknowledging it. Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey impact one candidate each; GWB impacts them all. (In utterly unintended ways, of course.)
I agree with Rich and would add that Barbra Streisand holds the place of 'celebrity' endorsement for Hillary. Also, I believe Chuck Norris has been campaigning for Huckabee. Susanna
Chuck Norris doesn't "campaign." He tells us who we are voting for. That's mine. For others: http://www.chucknorrisfacts.com/ My fave: Chuck Norris sleeps with a night light. Not because he's afraid of the dark, but because the dark is afraid of Chuck Norris.
