Can anyone offer any advice on any complete DL USA RA schools (Masters) that are cheap? Or at least tell me the cheapest ones out there. The degree can be for anything. (MS Lib. Studies, education, etc.) Also, does any one have any advice on getting a DL RA USA Masters in psychology or counseling without having an undergrad in psychology or counseling. My undergrad is in Management and Organizational Develoment and I am interested in a career in College Administration (Admissions, Registrar, Academic Advisement, etc.) Thanks!!
I found some great info in this thread, Duff: http://www.degreeinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=3348 I hope that URL comes out OK! Good Luck! Tony
Liberty University will allow the pursuit of a Masters in Counseling without a BA in psychology with, I think, 9 hours of psychology related courses. You might try them www.liberty.edu I received my MA in Counseling and have found it to meet states requirements for licensure and to be very marketable.
Engineering Masters - by cost In my general searching i came across the following. Where it is noted with NTU, the program through NTU is lower cost than direct from the school. These are for Civil, Mechnaical, Industrial and Engineering Managemetn masters, out-of state rates. Other progtrams may be lower cost, and in many cases in-state rates are a fraction of this. There are two very inexpensive programs (both mentioned in the thread quoted by Tony) that I like a lot: 1) California State University - Dominguez Hills - M.A. in Humanities (General or concentrations in Music, Art, Literature, or History) - $145 per semester credit. 2) Fort Hays State University - M.L.S. with concentrations available in many subjects - $142 per semester credit. Either program will get you a Master's degree from a RA state university for less than $5000, a great deal IMO. Bruce
May I suggest that we use words such as: "low-cost", cost-effective", "economic" rather than "cheap", which may be perceived negatively. Just a suggestion. - Paul -
