Does anyone know what the extremes are for distance MBAs? The cheapest appears to be Amberton, which I believe is $4995 currently. What's the most expensive? I came across one that was around $120000, but I don't recall the name. The length of the programs appears to vary from 10 months to nearly 3 years. -Chris
Here's the program that's $120000: London Business School EMBA-Global They're crackers, as I see it. -Chris
I would like to be crackers... Chris, They may be crackers, but I for one would take this course in a heartbeat if the time and money was available. Also bear in mind you are getting two MBAs, one from the best UK business school and one from a top 10 US school... Here is another (not quite so) expensive MBA that caught my eye but was out of my range (48 000.00 Euros) - OneMBA All the best, Dave C.
Not sure if they would be the most expensive MBA.... (is that why they are the "EMBA" ) http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/mbaexecutive/admissions/financial/tuition/ $138,450 if you are in San Francisco...
Actually, I think the cheapest is Ashworth, which is still under 5K. Unless we're excluding DETC and counting RA only.
Geez! As if 128K isn't enough for their program at the main campus, they charge 138K (a 10K premium!) for their branch campus program. Hmm.
Re: Re: MBA Extremes No, you're quite right. Amberton is the cheapest RA MBA, I believe, not counting in-state discounts. Ashworth is the cheapest DETC MBA. -Chris
Re: Re: Re: MBA Extremes I'm going to bend the criteria just a tiny bit in order to sneak in a candidate for "least expensive MBA." At UNISA, the MBA equivalent is the MComm degree in Business Management. As UNISA is DETC accredited through the Masters level I think they beat Ashworth for the cheapest DETC MBA (MComm). Jack
