..and I can say that I wish I'd get a penny for every time clicked a mouse button ( both @ home and @ work!! )

 

OK, it became a bit of an obsession, I admit. Perhaps a 12 step program is in order?

(BTW: the 1224 came out of nowhere, I was stuck on 1213, couldn't get higher, put the thing aside for a couple days, then like my fourth or fifth try after taking a couple days off, I just got lucky and hit that high-but-not-too-high shot that looks like it was gonna stick little penguin right in the snow...but he bounced! Yessss!)

Congratulations. And now we stand hand-in-hand atop the pinnacle of Penguin-smacking immortality. At least now some of those people who surely must have thought I was making it all up know it can be done.

 

I will now likely spend the rest of my life seeing if I can beat that score

 

I wonder if it's possible. After I got the 1224.1, I got on a slower computer with the same speed connection. For some reason, it caused the game to play in slow motion, so it was much easier (no, I didn't do that for the 1224 I posted here--honest).

I hit 1224.1 again when I used the slower computer, got a couple others right around 1220 or 1221. Nothing ever higher than 1224.1 though. Since we've had three 1224.1 scores, I'm starting to wonder if that's not the cap. It sounds like a very odd place to be the max, though. You'd think 1225 or 1250. I don't know, but that 1224.1 may be it.
