    Robert Kennedy College http://college.ch/
is now listing a partnership with the University of Wales http://www.wales.ac.uk/newpages/external/e9.asp
    on their website:

“Our Executive MBA programme is Validated and Awarded by the University of Wales and hence is internationally recognised and accredited….“RKC is a partner college of the University of Wales. The University, founded in 1893, is second in the UK only to the University of London, in terms of full-time student numbers. The Chancellor of the University of Wales is His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. You enjoy the convenience of studying in a small Swiss Private College combined with a full array of benefits as a dually matriculated student, including extensive electronic library resources, access to the UoW alumni network and the same award as full time students of the University of Wales.”

Interesting. I don't see anything about it on the Wales site, though. (Doesn't mean it isn't there, of course.)

The RKC site actually says the degree will be "Validated and Awarded" by Wales. Validated is no big deal--and it is unclear what impact that might have on an otherwise unrecognized RKC degree. But "Awarded"? That sounds like an RKC graduate would receive a Wales degree. Whole different ballgame there.

All that page says is "Validated Schemes of Study." Nothing about Wales actually awarding the degree.

    There is this document, where

    And this "Validation: Franchising Handbook"

That discusses franchises and I am not sure if Robert Kennedy College is one, but

which implies one can offer University of Wales awards without being a franchise.

But other than that, I cannot find anything which suggests validation implies degrees awarded by Wales.

Of course, if it happens to be a false statement, why not email the University of Wales and ask for their opinion on it.

Then there is a report by the QAA, where

Which tends to suggest validation implies "awarded by the University of Wales".

I think the diploma will have the name of both institutions on it.

For example, those students studying the University of Wales programs at the Informatics Group in Singapore will have both the university and informatics on their diploma.

Here's the sample. Scroll down and click on the degrees offered by the university. It will have a sample.

    Hello,

The Diploma of Robert Kennedy College will have both Names on the Diploma (RKC und UoW). The degree will be fully validated by the University of Wales (btw: as the programme is fully validated from the UoW the students that do their MBA at RKC may - if they want - get their diploma at the official UoW ceremony).

There should be no issue with this degree.

    Regards,
    Oliver

If you go to the ODA site you will see that Oregon accepts work done here if the degree is awarded by UoW: NOTE: "Degrees issued by the University of Wales based on work done at Robert Kennedy are acceptable."
AS for degrees issued by Robert Kennedy:
"Oregon employers should consider degrees from this supplier to be equivalent to an unaccredited U.S. college degree unless each degree program is evaluated in detail by an external evaluator acceptable to ODA."
