Candice, I would like to make one correction to your untrue statements. Uncle is a very humble and forgiving person, at least when the sinner has repented and seeks forgiveness. Since you are not repenting, why should any honest intelligent person not treat you as you are? You are apparently a con-artist that tells lies about honest people. That is unacceptable in third world countries as well as here.

 

If Uncle Janko is so humble and forgiving, then could someone explain to me why I have seen him try to chase three or four newbies off the board even in my meager three months here? Or could someone explain why the humble and forgiving Janko has ignored my PM request for his forgiveness/friendship for the last two months and counting?

I hope that Mr Heiks is as concerned about the unsubstantiated statements and character assassination in which the thread starter has engaged against Mr Kurdzin, as he is to engage in unsubstantiated statements and character assassination against me.

It's worth noting that Candice is not a newbie. He or she has had skirmishes with janko in the past (including accusations that uj is an employee of an unaccredited school).

Fortunately, uj is more than a match for him or her.

 

Technically, she is a newbie (New Member) until 30 posts, and she's presently one post shy thereof (29 as of May 21). After 30 posts she will be a Member and, after 100, a Senior Member.

I never said one way or the other whether I think that what Candice is doing is good, bad, or indifferent. In fact I know nothing of these schools or alleged schools that seem to be doing business in Vietnam. I merely thought that Bill Huffman ought provide some evidence to substantiate his accusations to the effect that you are humble and forgiving. And, of course, I introduced some evidence to the contrary.

I am sorry for not replying soon since I am out of town for the last few days. Today when I read the baseless statement from some guys who are the agents for unaccredited university in Vietnam, I am really surprise. But I come to conculsion that this is normal behaviour because their works is affected more or less.

I am not in education business or have any relation with this industry. I am just a person who is looking for a post-graduate business course to participate in. During seeking process, I have found a lot of USA universities providing DL MBA courses. But at that time I have no knowledge about: accrediation, US education system, .... One day, I come to this degreeinfo.com forum and got a lot information there. Then, I understand what is the reality of the universities who are doing business in Vietnam. Thank this forum.

Assuming I am a reporter as candice-vn statements (but actually, I am not) my purpose is to provide information for prospective students in order to help them to correctly select their reasonable program. Of course, students should judge the program themselves.

The last article of the newspaper presented the website address of USED & CHEA and recommends readers to use these database to verify schools. If I am the agent of SCUPS or .... as candice-vn statement, why did i present these database?

Another purpose is to provide some information and understanding to the society about the complicated system of US education. "USA degree" sounds loudly here, and a lot of people use this "trademark" to be promoted in the career including a lot of goverment officers.

I absolutely agree with what stated in "Diploma Mills: The $200-Million-a-Year Competitor You Didn't Know You Had" by Dr. John Bear, there are the four victims of such a poor quality education: those buyers who aren't villains, the employers, the public and the legitimate schools. So the public must be provided enough information about this complicated matters.

During the last one or two years, schools mentioned in the article are promoting their activities a lot. That is the reason why, they are exposed.

For personal attack from candice-vn: I consider it baseless, worthless to care about. I never ask for money from them or do such a dirty activity. After reading the posts accusing me for this dirty behaviour, I've realized the real characteristics of these agents. I think, candice-vn did prepare a faith tape recorder already. If I really did this thing as candice-vn accused, I'd had been in jail now. This strongly violate the law, sorry I don't dare to do it. These people can do anything to protect their profit.

Last time, there are also a fight between candice-vn & uncle janko regarding Akamai, at that time candice-vn attacked Akamai stronglly. But, I think he/she is promoting for Akamai now.

Would you please tell us which "non-accredited universities" you represent in Vietnam?

How much money do you typically receive as commission for each student that you recruit?

Would you please describe the kind of student that you typically recruit? Would they qualify for admission to local universities or to accredited foreign DL programs? What do most of these students propose to do with their degrees once they have them?

Why do you represent non-accredited universities? Is there some reason why you don't represent more credible schools? Do you believe that there's some advantage to non-accredited schools?

Why are you posting your response against threats to your income stream here on Degreeinfo? Do prospective Vietnames students really read the English language postings here on this board?

Agreed. And when the criticism of it comes from a priest -- even a self-proclaimed mad one -- it has all the more credibility, in my opinion. Priests (or pastors) as activists: The best kind, in my opinion.

Shills, trolls and troublemakers of various sorts come here all the time and sign-up with new usernames. Then they espouse their ridiculousness. Do we let them, without challenge, just because they're "newbies?"

How long ago she signed-up is probably a better indicator. If a person lurks around here for a while and then finally posts -- whether immediately after signing-up, or months later -- I'm not so sure s/he qualifies as a "newbie" anymore, even if that's what it says below his/her username here. But that's just an opinion.

Janko's refusal to let knuckleheads sign-up here and then begin posting unmitigated ridiculousness without challenge hardly qualifies as "evidence ... contrary" to the notion that he's "humble and forgiving." You've apparently not taken the time to get to know and understand Janko. I have. And, believe me, there's nothing in his behavior, or in his heart, that's in any way contrary to the vocation to which he was called. A man (or woman, for that matter... I mean... you know... don't mean to appear sexist, after all) may be devoutly religious -- pious, even -- and still dare not suffer fools. After all, he takes no crap from you, does he?

Candice? Your turn... only this time English, please. I don't completely trust your translator. And, anyway, isn't it in the TOS somewhere that all posts must be in English? If it's not, then it should be. This is a U.S. forum (where non-U.S. folks are perfectly welcome, of course) and, as such, the language of the day should be English. There are those who will decry that notion as prejudiced and unfair, I realize... but, too bad. Tell it to the FAA.
