Please accept my congratulations, as well, Bill... I mean, Dr. Grover.

You earned it. I have also enjoyed our discussions here and elsewhere and look forward to more.

I envy you, but am enjoying my own studies too much to want to trade places. Maybe in a few years we can take turns calling each other "Doctor."

    God Bless,
    clint

Thanks Rich. I wasn't quite as confident as you were about my 'passing.' I thought my work should pass because I've made myself familiar with the literature and issues . I thought that my product equaled in general that literature, and interacted with it, and addressed those issues. I thought that it further did so in the course of defending my thesis in a manner not before done.

Also I hired a local , informal reader to read the chapters. He opined that my dissertation fell into the perimeters of doc work . He is published in the field, is a local prof of NT, and has his doc from DTS. Still I nevertheless had some fear that for whatever reason I would not pass. So, I'm very relieved.

I certainly will try to devise a way to make the dissertation in some form available. You know how I just cannot keep my opinions to myself:rolleyes:

Hey Dr. Grover!!!! That is so awesome. :D

Sorry I have been out of cyber space a while with few exceptions that I only found out you passed a day ago since it was posted on the theologyreview forum.

I am so happy for you my brother. In a time, age wise, when many are giving up on their dreams and aspirations, it is so refreshing to see your desire.

    Thanks Kevin.

Today I got the fax from SA stating what must specifically be done by way of the corrections I mentioned in the orig post. These consist of probably 100- 150 errors in spellings, grammar, footnoting and such. But I have six weeks to attend to these. So should be no prob.

    I feel very blessed!
