"If I were in charge of such things, I would examine the list, and determine if any of the people on the list were captured in civilian clothing (which I assume most, if not all, were). That makes them spies, and thus fair game for summary execution."

    No, what you said is:

"We could win the war on drugs very easily, if we killed, on-sight, every drug dealer we found.

I guarantee that policy would eliminate the pool of replacements. Same for the terrorists....kill them, and they stop trying to kill us."

    My statement was correct.

Yeah, I said those things. So what?

Jeff....have you ever said to yourself "I'd love to kill that guy"? Of course you have. Are you actually going to kill him? I would hope not.

There is a big difference between the hypothetical and the reality. Perhaps you might try looking into that, rather than examining the minutiae of what I write here.

If you ever do "get it", what I write will make a lot more sense, I promise you.

Funny, that's almost exactly what a Scientologist recently told me.

Here's a hint: if someone has to buy into your ideology in order to understand your argument, chances are you are not making a logical argument.

Trust me, Bruce, I will never "get it."

I will never believe in summary executions. Never.

I only pointed out those statements because you lied about what you had said.

Are you saying that this is nothing unusual?

Wait a minute, my friends. I do not for a MOMENT believe that Bruce or anyone else posting here wants to give an unrestricted license to execute without process. Having worked in the law enforcement environment myself, I have some understanding of the frustration common to people in the criminal justice world. Sometimes we speak with more hyperbole than maybe we should.

I am expressing my deep seated distrust of this administration and that is all.

I only posted what BRUCE SAID. He twice advocated summary executions without a trial. He admitted that he said it. What is the problem?
