Professor Patrick

Dr. Patrick Palmieri is the regional director for Evidence-Based Health Care South America (EBHC-SA): A Joanna Briggs Institute Collaborating Group. He is a global health expert, nurse leader, and research methodologist with 25+ years of experience in academia and industry. Dr. Palmieri earned the highest level research certification from the Peruvian National Committee for Science, Technology, and Innovation (CONCYTEC). He was the first Peruvian inducted into the American Academy of Nursing, the America College of Health Care Executives, and the International Society for Health Care Quality. Dr. Palmieri is a respected scholar focused on advancing young researchers and mentoring graduate students. Working with international colleagues, Dr. Palmieri has developed fellowship programs in clinical specializations and research for graduate students. He has served on the doctoral committees of more than 30 successful dissertations.
