Hello Jeff, I noticed you were from Oklahoma (I'm in OKC) and I emailed your college address a few days ago. I'll paste the message here. "I am finishing a BA CS and I am considering doing the UIS (University of Illinois Springfield) MS CS program. I notice that you've done the UIUC program and I just wanted to know if the degree has helped a lot and if you could share any of your experiences. Also do you know if the UIS program could transfer into a PhD program at UIC or UIUC? I've been in touch with the admissions department and the dean of the CS department there, but it is always good to hear the perspective of 3rd parties, and since you are also from Oklahoma that definitely helps. I would love to do UIUC but I cannot afford the tuition there. I currently work as a Java programmer/analyst, I notice that the courses use Java as the language of choice, I was thinking of taking 3 courses in the fall.
