Watch A Complete 15+ Hour Computer/Internet Course Online | Gizmo's Freeware Regrettably no certificate.
Here's a gateway to other free versions of Harvard Extension courses. https://www.google.ca/?gws_rd=ssl#q=harvard+extension+free+courses A few years back I downloaded the complete (free) version of the Harvard Extension course in Digital Photography. It was excellent, just as one would expect. "Regrettably no certificate?" Well, IIRC, if you registered for the photography course, paid around $2800, physically attended all the lectures, did the assignments /exams successfully - then you got credit. Otherwise - you got free knowledge. I think that Harvard course was the best ever of my many academic freebies. #2 might possibly be Yale's free Intro To Music lectures. Yale offers tons of freebies, too. J.
Thanks for this Many thanks for this. I'm watching the WWII. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to record it for later viewing. My connection at home is slow and limited, so I would like to record it at school, then watch it later. Any suggestions?
You may have to poke around a little to find the page, but what I did (with Harvard and other schools) is download the (Quicktime) videos - one for each lecture - and put them on a DVD. In most cases, an entire course would fit on a single 4.7 gig. DVD. I was poking around Harvard site today and found some courses offered for download in your choice of Quicktime - video and sound or MP3 - sound only. There was also the option of watching directly in Flash. J.
