Does anyone know if TESC would consider a BA in Music Business or Recording? There's a program I'm interested at a local college and I wouldn't mind doing a second Bachelor's thorough TESC. Some of the local college's courses include: MKT200 Principles of Marketing MGT250 Principles of Management BUS340 Small Business Ventures CM221 Introduction to Public Relations MUS297 Survey of Music Industry MUS397 Entertainment and Promotion MUS497 Copyright and Licensing CM226 Audio Production I CM336 Audio Production II CM426 Audio Production MUS181 Foundations of Music Theory (may be exempt) MUS182 – 183 Music Theory I-II MUS184 – 185 Sight Singing/Ear Training I-II MUS286 Jazz History MUS287 American Popular Music MUS290 Introduction to Music Literature Thanks Rhonda
With a first Bachelor's already in hand (once it is), there's a good chance you could complete the degree through your local college with little or no more work than the courses you'd take for the major anyway - so you might want to talk to them first?
Re: Berkelee college of music Very good online programs indeed. And the costs aren't too bad at all. http://www.berkleemusic.com/ But, it's not a degree program; just certificates at several levels. Even so, it's Berklee!
Ok sir, I have read the list of local college courses. This course is approved by TESC for BA in Music business and recording. I am interested to do a course of BA in music business and recording. So, please provide me complete information of TESC BA music. Thanks :squareeyed:
I do not see a TESC BA in music business and recording but perhaps that is a LDAS degree option: Thomas Edison State College | Learner Designed Area of Study (LDAS) Here is the credit distribution for the TESC BA in Music Thomas Edison State College | BA in Music Credit Distribution TESC requires you complete 30 additional semester units for a second bachelors degree (plus you have to meet all degree requirements)
