Would I be able to teach low level poli sci courses with this degree?

An anonymous newbie who claims a Masters from a top 100 school (but won't name the school) who comes on board and then proceeds to insult everyone? T-R-O-L-L

My sentiment also; however, I as were others, was merely attempting to be judicious…
First time poster, just registered today … it was rather obvious as to the Op’s intent.

Whether hovercraft is a troll or just an emotionally immature individual is still in question in my mind. Pretty bad behavior either way.

Ironically, if he really wants to be an adjunct, where do you suppose that he will actually find a job? Likely at one of the very schools that he is now bashing.

OP, here's a little advice. If you want something from people (in this case, information), it isn't very wise to first convince them that you aren't worth helping.

Here is more advice: you have annoyed three moderators, now is a good time to stop.

Certainly a possibility; and perhaps he /she are a combination of both (?).

I don't think he is a troll. Take a look at his course loadout. It starts with post-capatalist society. He is a poli sci major.
If I am to generalize, I believe that he probably has an anti-capitalist world view. Private online universities are making a profit by selling a quality education in most cases.
Another poster showed that many government schools have failed to monetize the online delivery format.

This has to be extremely annoying to an anti-capitalist, hence the rant.

I think he really is going to school and really did want help but exercised very little tact in asking his question.

Not anti-capitalist in the least. I'm anti online-only schools because they are laughed at by most employers and are ridiculously expensive when someone could get a cheaper degree from a state university.
