    Agreed.

    Hopefully they'll drop it. Not every mistrial or overturned conviction results in prosecutors trying again, sometimes they just let it go, as would be ideal now.

    Update:

    The Proud Boys (Canada) case is over. One of the five has quit the military and the four others have been returned to their duties, from which they were previously suspended. No criminal charges - a military officer explained that there was no reasonable chance of conviction as they were protesting within their constitutional rights. I agree; whether I like it or not, even asshats like these have rights - the same rights that all others have.

    I guess the military didn't like what they saw and I didn't, either - I'll have to be happy with that. The officer who explained the outcome did note that the incident will be a permanent part of each man's record. OK - I'm done, now.
