Yeah! Now, I had known for awhile about the Age of Marshall course awhile ago (it has been offered before). But, if I recall correctly, didn't someone here say that the Age of Marshall course was merely the first of a four part series on American Constitutional History? If so, were the other three Chief Justices that are going to be in the series named yet?

OK. I'll go look up that other WNMU MAIS thread where I listed all the courses offered by concentration (with parenthetical notation on which previous semester/s the course had been offered). When initially looking at the MAIS program, I thought that the sequence of Border Issues, Crime & Punishment, Drug Wars, and Frontier Law & Justice made a good little "unofficial self-carved concentration" in the history of criminal justice issues within the official dual concentration of History & Political Science (if I recall correctly, all four were cross-listed as HS/PS). But, the Organized Crime class looks like a great little addition to my little "unofficial self-carved concentration." Thanks!

Do any of these look familiar?

DVDs on the history of organized crime www.history.com/search.do?searchText=history+of+organized+crime

DVDs on the history of drugs www.history.com/search.do?searchText=history+of+drugs

If you could get me the exact names of the History Channel vids, I could start doing a search of various used book sites (or see if there are such things as used video sites).

And the full name of the course is: CJUS 541 Organized Crime

Source: http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29469 (that other WNMU thread)

Yes, Ted, that was me. Professor Warren was telling me about the proposed courses. Right now the Age of Marshall was listed as a 580 course, but is in the process of being renumbered and made into a standard course they can offer. He said he has plans for three additional courses: The Constitutional Convention and the Federalist Papers, Lincoln, Taney and the Civil War, and Industrial America.

He said all of this depends on if the graduate council approves the courses.

If you need the videos I've still got them.

I don't actually need the videos just quite yet, as I'm still in the phase of trying to get re-admitted (hopefully with financial aid this time) for the summer. For now, it's just a matter of collecting bibliographies for future courses' required readings. But if you could find the exact titles ...

Ok so I ended up registering for an English class for the Summer at WNMU. How do I figure out what books I need? I can’t find that information anywhere. I tried Mustang Express, the website, etc.

Go to WNMU website www.wnmu.edu. Click on Online Degrees. Click on Bookstore. Enter your course number.

I did that already. They only have Spring 2009 as an option in the dropdown for term, not Summer 2009.

I talked to Katherine and apparently they update the book lists on the online bookstore about 2 weeks before start of classes, so I'll just email the instructor. I like to start reading ahead of time.
