6 MORE CREDITS! I just got a 65 on the Social Sciences and History CLEP exam. I am up to 86 total! I am taking the English Literature CLEP exam on Friday, and it is one of the harder exams. Time to hit the books!

Damn!!!! You are on a roll!!!!! Good job. Drink a couple of Red Bulls and get back in there. It sounds crazy, but I take Ginko Biloba before an exam and I seem to remember stuff and I didn't even know I knew.

I didn't take the English Literature CLEP exam today. With New Year's Eve and New Years Day family obligations, I was not able to study enough. On top of that, I didn't have the study materials I wanted (just ordered them online). I rescheduled for two weeks. The exam has a year 2001, 12% military pass rate, so I am not taking it lightly. It is tough.

Now I have to readjust my goal. I am shooting for 96 credits by the end of the break, so I need to get 10 FEMA credits this weekend. It may bore me to death, but I can do that.

Thank you. I think it was a good move. I didn't foolishly risk the money or six months. I am working on the FEMA credits now. I have had my fill of ye old Elizabethan English, though! I can't wait to be finished with the Eng Lit exam.

My goal was to go from 77 credits to 100 over the winter break (2 weeks). I came up short by 6 credits (didn't take the English Literature CLEP exam). In the end, family commitments on the holidays did me in. I had some good family time, but I fell short of my academic goal. Such is life!

I now have 94 credits toward a BA in English from TESC.

Started with 77 two weeks ago.
    +3 for DSST Technical Writing
+6 for CLEP Social Sciences and History
    +8 FEMA
    =94 credits

That is a great job and close to your goal. Do you have any electives left?

If you mean free electives that I can use FEMA credits on, no.

The Humanities CLEP exam credits are the only non-English credits I still need.

    I still need:

    (6) English Literature CLEP exam in January
    (3) American Literature CLEP exam in February (already have 3 credits B&M)
    (6) Humanities CLEP exam in March
    (3) Children’s Literature through LSU Distance
    (3) Business Writing through LSU Distance
    (3) Fiction through LSU Distance
    (3) World OR African Literature (probably through TESC, maybe through my local cc)

Seventeen credits in two weeks is not all that bad (even if you were hoping for twenty-three credits)!
