    Master:

You are a master, that was the link I was going to post!

About the level of difficulty of the test, Since I am a native Spanish speaker, it was very easy for me, first you have to listen to a recording in the target language and answer some recorded questions (the funny thing is that the speaker said she was born in my home town, but due to her accent I could tell she was not)

After that you have to translate a short paragraph from the target language into English and another one from English into the target language. (these are easy sentences without difficult vocabulary)

If you want to obtain the 4 UD credits you also have to write a 350 words essay.

    @ lchemist:

where did you take the exam?

In NY - or somewhere else (i.e. proctored)?

So that means that you only get upper-level-credits when taking the 16-point test, right?

    Cheers,
    m.

    Master:

As I said before I took it proctored at Pierce College in Woodland Hills California, and transferred the credits to Excelsior College.

The first 12 points = credits are lower level, to get the 4 Upper division credits you will have to take the 16 points exam. Basically only a 350 words essay is added.

Keep in mind that the numbers and level of credit you will actually obtain are decided by your home school, NYU only recommends ther value. In my case Excelsior College honored the 16 credit hhours as recommended.
