Sociology degrees seem hard to come by online. NMSU offers an online MA, and SDSU offers an online MS in rural soc. These aside, many seem to opt for an MALS to get their sociology fix. So, I thought this UOL program might be of interest. The fees seem relatively low compared to other UOL programs and one gets a “stand alone” cert in sociology.
Since we're going British here, anyone who's trying to satisfy that Sociology fix can also check out the Masters degree program in Social and Cultural Theory offered by Staffordshire University. http://www.staffs.ac.uk/study_here/courses/social-and-cultural-theory-ma-tcm429550.jsp This school also offers a whole bunch of other degree programs (including Math) by distance learning. Colorado State Pueblo for US-based undergrad. I don't know anyone who has taken Soc courses there, but the Operations Management course in their management curriculum is a popular choice among Excelsior students. I may do Soc 432 Organization Theory if I find I need an elective. Phillip
