I have a friend considering attending the UoL, getting a degree in perhaps Philosophy, though the subject isn't decided yet. He would then want to enter grad school in the US. Probably get a MEd or something. Would this be a problem? Any suggestions? thanks, clint
I wouldn't think that there would be a problem with admission to an MEd program assuming his grades were OK. Beyond that, I'd only mention that if the purpose of the MEd is to become a teacher then he'd just have to be aware of the requirements for teaching internships in order to obtain a teaching certificate. Thanks Jack, good point, but not much we could do about it at the moment, since he is in Estonia with me. The other members of our group are all trying to figure out the best way to advance their education from here. The big 3 would be great, but testing is not so easy from here. The options are limited. Financially, UoL is attractive, but since it is a different type of degree from an American BA, we just didn't know how it would be viewed if he tried to get into graduate school I appreciate it. clint
