    The University of Northern Virginia was accredited by ACICS, at least in 2005 - 2006 while I was looking at their program; especially in the Northern Virginia area. At the time I looked at UNVA and University of Management & Technology. Yup, they have lost their accreditation from ACICS....

    University of Northern Virginia was in serious trouble from Immigration & Citizenship earlier this year. Apparently, new management turned the school into cash cow by exploiting student visa regulations loophole. Students (mostly from India) would come to UVA and would be immediately granted work permits for full-time "required" Curricular Practical Training. A school in California (Tri Valley University) got closed down for similar practices, and its owner is indicted for federal offences.

    Indeed. Over at VIU, we picked up a lot of their students in transfer.
