Hi, I cannot find the fee schedule for the DL MBA. Does anyone know what this program costs? Trying to decide if Heriot-Watt is the way to go and my decision (regretfully) revolves around dollars.
Ian, thanks for the help but I still don't see the DL MBA fees, just full time and part time. Am I just not seeing it? Sorry.......
I'm also interested to know how their DL MBA go about. Is it exam-based like H-W? or project based like U of Liverpool? BTW, U of Liverpool is offering a $3000 scholarship if you get admitted before the end of the month. So their tuition will be around $13,700 if you pay one time or around $17,000 if pay per module.
From http://www.le.ac.uk/graduateoffice/pgprospectus/funding.html#dl "Fees for Distance Learning Students The University offers a wide range of distance learning programmes throughout the world. The fees charged vary according to where you are studying. Full information on fees is included in each course's brochure and you should check with the relevant centre at the time of application." This same page also gives tuition fees for International (overseas) Students at the university are Master of Business Administration (MBA) £9735 so I would expect DL fees to in same region. Looks like you need to call or e-mail them. I have always found I get a good response when I call the UK and announce "Hello, I'm calling from California" One of the degrees I am considering is the Leicester DL MA in Museum Studies - course cost includes all books. (Leicester also has a DL PhD in Museum Studies.)[
John, I just got the prospectus from Leicester that I requested, together with some fee info. It said that MBA tuition fee for international students is £6400.
John Spies: I suspect that the Australians are cheaper, especially given the currency exchange rates. Check out some options there before you decide. Ian: What's museum studies? Training in curatorship? Sounds interesting.
Yes, I am afraid that there are several cheaper alternatives out there. I am currently considering Heriot-Watt, UniSa/Cordon Bleu, and USQ. Regretfully, the pocketbook will play a major part in this decision. At first glance, I would go with UniSA because it is most applicable to my career, but it costs $11K USD. HW is less expensive, but harder and will require more time, and USQ has just been contacted, but their tuition is only $6300 USD. Decision time is in the next two weeks. thanks
