UNISA and DETC transfer credits

Does anyone know whether UNISA (South Africa not Southern Australia) accepts transfer credit toward their programs from other DETC accredited institutions?

I tried to look up "UNISA" on the search function and no matches turned up...strange. Maybe somebody who has experience with this issue or is knowledgable about it could answer my question?

 

Hi Horatio - I'm assuming, as perhaps you are, that since UNISA is DETC accredited they will accept credits from other DETC schools. Makes sense, no? However, I can't say that I know this to be the case as I've never tried. Also, I don't remember anyone posting such info on the forum either. I'm not sure about why you're having problems with the search function. I just pumped "UNISA" into the search window and I got 219 threads. I'd suggest that you try again. You might also want to visit the folks at www.iaci-canada.com with your question. Good luck.

I have contacted IACI and have yet to hear back from them. I have noticed that UNISA offers quite a few new courses mainly from Technikon areas of education (I.E. Certificate's, National Diploma's etc..). Apparently the merger with Technikon SA has worked out for them?

However, getting a response to my emails is like pulling teeth.
