I'm currently looking for DL undergrad programs in accounting. So far, I've not been able to locate too many of them. As an Excelsior College graduate, I'm thinking about earning this degree through them. However, at the same time, I'm keeping my options open. So far I've only found undergrad accounting programs via these schools... Excelsior College.......seriously considering TESC.........................partial to Excelsior COSC........................partial to Excelsior St. Leo University.....way too expensive U of Maryland...........way too expensive U of Phoenix.............way too expensive If anyone knows of any other options please let me know. Thanks, Cy
If CPA is your goal then you might want to find info on how graduates of each school have fared on the exams. If that info exists. Oops! Just saw your other post and CPA is your goal.
The program: http://www.ncu.edu/university_information/dpro_spec.asp?dpro_id=24&dpro_section_label=Accounting The cost: http://www.ncu.edu/university_information/tuition_and_fees.asp Note that they accept up to 90 units in transfer so only 30 units would be required (almost all of which could be accounting credits).
If your Goal is CPA then with a bachelor's degree, depending on the state, you don't need an accounting degree but 24 units of accounting and maybe 24 units of Business credits, which sounds like you have already with your MBA. I would look up your state to see the exact requirements. Try this link: http://www.gleim.com/accounting/cpa/requirements.php Hope this helps.
