I’m considering the MBA program at TUI (California). They have good pricing for in state residents at $750 per class. Has anyone taken classes with TUI or completed a program with them? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Hi Sleestack, There are a number of TUI grads here - and a number of threads, too, under the school's old name: Touro University International. Try to do a "search." Good luck! Arch
Thanks for the info... I'll do a search and see what I come up with... Any current students at TUI feel free to send me a PM...
Hello Sleestack, I just graduated from TUI with an MBA (General Management) on August 9th. I enjoyed the school and the mentors. And yes, the pricing is good. No books or hidden costs, $750 per 4-credit class. Send me a PM with any questions.
I'm not in the MBA program but I am a current student at TUI. A have nothing but good things to say about the school. The price is right and I'm learning quite a bit.

The same costs applies to civilian spouse and dependent children of military personnel regardless of where they live. As for military personnel, they are virtually free. As long as they are taking less than 8 classes per year and utilizing the standard military TA (tuition assistance), military members get a free ride from Uncle Sam! http://www.tuiu.edu/admissions/mdp-master.html TUI is pro-military 100%. My graduation key speaker was General Alexander Haig, Jr. a retired and highly decorated WWII general. The key note speaker prior to that was Sergeant Major of the Army Kenneth Prescott who was receiving his TUI BSBA. That said, you are good to go if you are still serving Uncle Sam!
Tui and military I completed the TUI MBA in 2002. Happily, I was one of the free rides referred to in an earlier post. It was possible to complete an MBA with dual concentration quite easily at TUI - I haven't looked at their programs in years. I nearly started a PhD in Business with Touro but felt it really didn't square with my overall career objective.
I am trying to enroll in TUI to start in October, however it is like pulling teeth to get anyone to talk with me. Usually I can call a university and can't get them to stop calling, however with TUI I can not get a hold of anyone, especially in the Student Loan department. I have turned everything in, did the Fafsa, and left several messages and no call back. I hope this is not an indication of what is to come.
Thanks for all the input… I was able to find out a good deal of info by searching old posts on this forum. I really just wanted to get a feeling for how current and former students viewed their experiences with the school. I’m most likely going to sign up for one class and try it out. I’ll check back in later with a review.
I graduated from TUI in 2005 with a BSHS degree and currently working on my MBA/Masters of health care management degree with TUI. It is a dual degree program. TUI is great!
