Anyone know anything about Trinity Southern University? (aside from the fact that their URL is suspect...) (http://twinfallsproduce.net/degrees) This is their accreditation statement: quote Trinity Southern University has been accreditated by the National Association of Prior Learning Assessment Colleges and Universities (NAPLACU). end quote Who is NAPLACU ??? thanks !!!
An unrecognized accreditor, established with the sole purpose of fooling people into thinking they are enrolling in a legitimately accredited school. Stay away. Bruce
Trinity Southern University is interesting because I believe that it is a FAKE degree mill -- i.e. a bogus non-operating degree mill set up by a REAL degree mill only so that the operators of the real degree mill can compare themselves favorably against it ("now that's a real fraud over there"). Devious, these degree millers.
I just got the AOL spam mentioned by DrPhibes: The link was to http://www.janetp39.com/cl/sohvmrqazexbcx2oxvgpsv7, which redirects to http://www.trinitysouthernuniversity.org/. According to http:///www.whois.net, the contact for janetp39.com is: Desmond Jones ([email protected]) 1509 Myrtle Street Scranton, PA 18510 The contact for awesomeleads.com is: Dave Graves ([email protected]) 1114 E. John Sims Pkwy Niceville, FL 32578 So, OxPecker's ingenious surmise that Trinity Southern University is "a FAKE degree mill" seems to have been wrong.
I have now received another spam for this 'university'. The address from was an address at swtgurl13.com. Guess what? It's also registered to a Desmond Jones. whois -h whois.enom.com swtgurl13.com Registration Service Provided By: RegisterFly.com Contact: [email protected] Visit: http://www.RegisterFly.com Domain name- swtgurl13.com Name servers- NS.ALWAYSDEALZ4ME.COM NS11.ZONEEDIT.COM Start of registration- 2003-08-22 11:11:57 Registered through- 2004-08-22 11:11:57 Registrant Contact- DJones Desmond Jones ([email protected]) 570-347-9723 FAX- none 1509 Myrtle Street Scranton, PA 18510 US Administrative Contact- DJones Desmond Jones ([email protected]) 570-347-9723 FAX- none 1509 Myrtle Street Scranton, PA 18510 US It's easy to sum Trinity Southern University up. It does not exist. Neither does the university in Argentina it is 'linked' to. Still, you can get a nicely printed certificate sent from someone in Argentina saying you have a degree at a non-existant university in Texas, all for several hundred $$$'s. And if you are not happy you can get your money back, minus $40 for the printing costs. You might as well print your own 'degree certificate' out. Avoid like the plague. I'm amazed that this outfit have managed to operate for so long. seems they have been 'provider-hopping'.
Hi folks, Take a look at the info here: http://www.hep.uiuc.edu/home/g-gollin/nonCHEA/#trinity_southern_university They fabricate transcripts. It's dirty, and a "degree" from them is the proverbial time-bomb-in-the-cv. George Gollin
Trinity Southern SCAM SCAM SCAM Trinity Southern scam is up and running again! Hurry to get your worthless, bogus degree! Latest web site is at http://www.apc823.com/ and guess what! What? You can get your credit card debts consolidated by going to http://www.apc823.com/debt/ Isn't that a happy coincidence? Same domain name! Seems like they have no shame! This credit card consolidation page is another one of their (whoever they are) pages without any contact information -- a cop out to the fact that they are crooks. NAPLAC ??? That is confirmed BS and I'm not talking about Bachelor of Science. Stay away from Trinity Southern -- it is a total scam!!!
SPAM I don't think I would even consider a school or program that markets itself through SPAM. It feels like a scam!
NAPLAC I think the following demonstrates that NAPLAC is a bogus organization. A little reseach will show that NAPLAC is operated by the same people that operate the fake degree mill know as Trinity Southern University. TSU (as they sometimes call themselves) hops from web host to web host as they are booted off for spammiong and scamming. Read these two emails... I sent this email to NAPLAC: Received: from pc ([172.140.226.193]) by mail.SAFe-mail.net Subject: Accredited Institutions Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2003 07:51:54 -0400 From: superbrad To: [email protected] X-SMType: Regular X-SMRef: N1-I6SqTowj Message-Id: <[email protected]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello, Can you supply me with a list of universities that are accedited by your organization?
