On TV on Sunday, I heard several commercials for Trinity College. The commercials made it seem like it was a respectable college, what with talking about the Bible and all. If they can afford to pay for TV commercials, then they must have a large cash-flow.
Bill approaches. "Oh a TTS thread!" Huge inner struggle with the temptation to vent. But, Bill leaves while humbly complimenting himself on his moral fiber and ability to resist temptation. Yes, it's so cool to be forgiving and not to feel the need to say anything at all about the large cash flow having the huge misrepresentation of accreditation as its direct correlate or that TTS fleeces the flock with false promises of global accreditation and utility. So nice to be able to resist temptation! cool:
I don't know. The only reason I've heard of Trinity College is because of all the reading I've done on it at this illustrious forum. While I was surfing the internet in my loft, the TV was on downstairs, just below the loft. Over a 30 minutes period, I heard about three commercials for Trinity College. Naturally, my ears perked up and began to burn because of everything I've read about Trinity College at DegreeInfo.com. My memory was flooded with posts from DegreeInfo.com that lambasted the unaccredited Trinity College. They concentrated on the "bible" as they sold their academic wares and, to be quite frank, they did an excellent job of selling themselves as being reputably legitimate, even if they are a degree mill. They gave out a toll free number and I was tempted to copy it down for this post, but I didn't. Not all temptations are wicked.
Me again and Levicoff are the only two people who have now called Trinity a degree mill. And Levicoff doesn't count because he thinks everything other than Union is a degree mill. Maybe one should save the term degree mill for those schools that sell degrees.
I do not know if Trinity College is a diploma mill, but from what I've read here at DegreeInfo.com, I get the impression that it is a school that should be avoided. What is your assessment of Trinity College?
There are a LOT of institutions with the name "Trinity," some are legitimate while others are degree mills. For example, the brick & mortar Trinity College in Hartford is regionally accredited while Trinity College & University is a degree mill.
