Okay. So we have one person, unknown to all who post here, who has claimed a pending sale of Touro University International. That person has been pressed for verifiable details and has not responded. Then....

We have another poster, one who has posted in the past regarding Touro University International, one who is connected to the school, who claims to have contacted the school. The school, he says, denies any such thing.

Who to believe?

Eli, of course. Absent (verifiable) information to the contrary, I'd have to say that Eli's post preponderates. Thanks for closing this out, Eli.

 

Rich Douglas could comment on this better than I can, but was this not the case when Vermont College, a branch of Norwich University was sold to Union Institute & University?

As a branch campus, TUI is currently under Touro College's accreditation or "charter". TUI has been directed to seek its own separate accreditation with WASC.

I seem to recall that Eli is/was a Ph.D. student at TUI.

That is correct gentlemen. I have been around for sometime and yes I am a current Ph.D. student who successfully completed his final oral defense few days ago !!! Sooo glad it is over.

Actually, I can't. I don't know if Vermont College was sold or just "transferred" to Union. Union's Alumni website uses the term "sold," but that hardly seems authoritative.

Steve Levicoff would know; he's a graduate of both.
