Good to see it worked out well for her: https://www.yahoo.com/news/tinder-pay-tuition-student-quit-020651262.html "Tinder is reaching out with an offer of financial aid to a University of Nebraska Omaha student who caused a big stir by displaying her sorority’s letters in her profile pic on the dating app. " "Tinder CEO Sean Rad has personally contacted the student, Shannon Workman, offering both a full year’s scholarship and a paid internship position at the California office of the dating app, reports BuzzFeed."
Good for her, although I have to say that my single friends do consider Tinder as a "hook-up" tool more than for serious dating. I'm so glad that I was off the single market by the time all this stuff came around.
You and me both! I don't even know how to use Tinder, and I have no desire to use FB. I guess I made the right choice. I have been with my Irish Lassie for over thirty years now. We dated for 8 years, and we have been married 23 years, or is it 24?
Next year will be 20 for me and the missus! I do use Facebook, it's put me back in touch with old HS friends, Army buddies, and my cousins who live in Florida. I don't post much on my personal wall, and try to stay out of the bad drama that so many other people seem to enjoy.
