Hmmm, regular correspondence seems a slow inefficient method. Frankly, I didn't even know how to fill out an envelope until I got married. I had to look up which side the stamp goes on using Ehow.

Dude, seriously? Sorry, but this just amazes me. No offense intended.

It amazes me that the information about putting a stamp on an envelope is on eHow. :)

None taken. Imagine my dismay when my mortgage company told me I couldn't pay online--I'll have to learn it all over again! Also, when buying the condo, I had to receive faxes (though I don't have a fax machine) because the IRS has yet to discover e-mail. I await 3D printers with great anticipation so that no one shall have to ship anything ever again.

I feel you man. I had to drive around the other day to find a store that had a fax machine to fax some stuff. They charged me a dollar page...I love Dilbert btw, If you have a xbox you can watch all the shows for free.

If you have an all-in-one, you can just scan and email. If they don't take that, I used an online email to fax service. It is cheaper than what a place like Kinko's charges to use their fax.

Well, sending wasn't the problem. I could easily find a way to send a fax or scan and email.

Here was the problem. The IRS could only fax TO ME and I didn't have a number for them to send to. I know one can receive fax via email but I had waited TWO HOURS to get somebody with the IRS on the phone! I certainly didn't want to research and set up the service. I figured they could email me the docs but they couldn't so I had to scramble to find a number for them to send to and lie about the security of the location it was going to (it was patently not secure, and I was not even there). It was ridiculous.

So let me try and bring this discussion back around to the original topic. Am I close to any 2 year degree from any accredited school?

Glad you bought the condo! I bought a house and I'm in the same situation, only I have to get a BS/BA by the end of the year... LOL!

If you have to get books, try the library - it's amazing what they have or can get for you. Also Half.com has textbooks at about half price - and less if you can handle reading a book that already has passages highlighted.

    Good luck!
