    Statistically, Boston gets more annual rain fall than Seattle or Portland, it's just that in New England you have storms, in the PacNW there are just 9 months a yr where you can expect some amount of rain every damn day. Oh also, while we both have an equal share of liberals, ours tend to be informed and have lucid, coherent positions, there's just like to yell and say you're racist if you disagree with them.

    I having been there many times before and now after...it looks better now.

    D-Town should be number two.

    I'm also glad not to see any Texas Cities on the list.

    The problem is a little more complicated than that, MC. Much of that property is in ownership limbo--for generations people in some areas of the city didn't bother to go through the probate process when a property owner died, instead family members just kept living in the house often for several generations. Tracing the title for ownership (a necessity for insurance or assistance funds) would be a nightmare under the best of circumstances, now add in flood damage to 100 year old property records...
