    Good points Daniel - DL has been around a long time and not in a FP world. You're probably right that the focus on marketing is the key thing FPs bring to the table.

    Back to the analogy - does marketing of drugs or hospitals lead to better health care? Or simply increased utilization?

    The University of London and the University of South Africa come to mind first, since they were strong with DL in the nineteenth century, but there are probably other pioneers lesser known.
