What you are going through is something that is very familiar to those of us who have gone the dissertation route. It is normal to feel that combination of exhilaration and (dare I say it) let down. It will go away. Getting involved in a project (like the MBA) should help.

When you see your doctoral diploma on the wall, you will recognize it for what it truly is: a certificate of endurance. No matter what our discipline, we all majored in the same thing: jumping through hoops

 

That is the day I am waiting for.
