DETC might work, but I'm really trying to find a school that offers an BS/BA in Psych program (and will accept an entire A.S. in transfer).

    Thanks,

Sure, this can be a combined AS/AAS thread. ;)

I'll keep looking around. I'm sure there are schools other than Bellevue that offer this. Of course, the Big 3 will likely accept all 60 credits from an AS in transfer, however, they still require one to complete all of their gen. ed. requirements.

    Thanks,

    Tom,

Most of the Psych programs (take a look at Peru State College) require a practicum of some type and have general ed requirements. They will accept your credits but it doesn't seem like any shortcut.

Many schools that require a practicum for an online undergrad psych program will allow a student to substitute another course or two instead. Drexel Univ. and Peru offer this and I know I've seen it elsewhere.

I'm not looking for a shortcut really. I would just like to focus on my major at this point, and not worry about taking gen. ed. courses. I've been taking gen. ed. courses off an on for the past 15 years now! Enough is enough. ;)

LOL Sorry, I don't know where I got COSC from?!?
Honestly, I do think it matters if your credits are 60 floaters or enclosed as a degree (especially since you are graduating from a RA school!) I don't think you'll have the trouble you anticipate. I still suggest looking for state colleges with lots of active articulation agreements, not that EC has one, but that the college is accustomed to accepting blocks of credits.
(P.S. you don't HAVE to know how to boil water....just delegate that to the new guys :) )
