Not sure if this is the correct forum for this so please forgive me if I've misposted.

I am trying to develop a topic to present for approval for reseach in Jurdical Science. I would like to write on:

Judical Accountability in the US Jurisprudence - who judges the judges.

What do you think. Should I narrow it down more? Is it a subject you that would be interesting to you?

    Help please...need a starting point...

I don't think it matters too much whether your dissertation interests anyone else but you ... and your committee. Go for it! And, by the way, this is a perfectly legit place to post such a question as there are a good many lawyers and law students running around this forum.

www.jail4judges.org might give you some leads.

I'm not endorsing that site or whatever it links to and know of it only for the bumper sticker my neighbor has on her car.

While I understand Ted's point I would say that for myself this would be quite interesting. I would also suggest that it's an extremely broad topic. Based on the title alone you leave open all of judicial history all over the world.. Narrow it by time period or narrow it by jurisdiction or narrow it by case type or some combination of all three, but I think you're going to have to narrow it in some manner. Regardless of all that, push forward.
